Are you looking for the perfect place to worship and serve?  Well, you won't find it on the corner of Main and Wilson Streets in Tarboro.  Though First Baptist Church was established nearly two hundred years ago, it very much remains a work in progress.  There are no perfect people sitting in our pews.  Much like the apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippians, we don't claim to have "arrived."  But I can say with all sincerity that we're on the right road and we're headed in the right direction.

After you check us out on-line, I hope you'll consider visiting us in person.  Faith is a wonderful and exicting journey.  We'd love for you to make the trip with us.
