Music Ministry "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!" MUSIC AT FBC TARBORO We offer music ministry opportunities for all ages. Our Adult music ministry includes the sanctuary choir and a handbell choir. The sanctuary choir leads the worship music for our traditional Sunday morning worship service at 11:00 a.m. It also presents various special musical programs throughout the year especially at Christmas time. This choir meets on Wednesday evening at 7:15 for regular practice and at other times for special practices. The adult handbell choir plays at various times throughout the year for worship services as well as special services. This group meets for practice on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Our Youth music ministry includes a youth handbell choir for children ages 13 and up. This group meets for practice on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 and performs several times during the year. Our Praise Band leads the worship in music at the 8:30 a.m. First Light praise worship service. It is comprised of both older youth and adults singing and playing instruments including keyboard, guitars, and drums.
