The Baptist Men's group of the First Baptist church of Tarboro participates in our state men's activities including Operation Inasmuch and Disaster Relief.  In addition, we have an active local handyman ministry which builds handicap ramps and performs minor repairs for deserving elderly and handicapped persons.  This is frequently in cooperation with other churches.  Once each month, we meet for an excellent working-man type breakfast and a mission program at 8:00 a.m. on the third Saturday.  This meeting is followed by a service project.  We also have a weekly prayer breakfast at 7:00 a.m. each Thursday at Cotton's Restaurant in Tarboro.
